Julie has dedicated over 15 years to practicing yoga. Her journey began after ending her time as a college cheerleader, experiencing intense back and hip pain due to years of repetitive and harsh movements. Initially, yoga served as a new way to exercise and stay in shape, but she quickly noticed her pain starting to fade away.
After becoming a mother, yoga took on a much deeper meaning in her life, leading to a radical transformation in her yoga journey. Throughout all three pregnancies, she committed herself to practicing yoga and meditation. Following the birth of her third child, she completed her first teacher training and pursued further education, achieving her 500-RYT and numerous additional trainings in Yin, Restorative, and Inversions.
Julie is deeply passionate about helping students feel good in their bodies, discover their potential, and achieve harmony in their practice and in their lives. At 42, she feels stronger than ever, and free from the pain that troubled her in her 20s. She credits this transformation to her balanced yoga practice.
Julie is passionate in sharing her love for yoga and meditation with others. As a teacher, she enjoys instructing a wide range of classes in various styles. You can find Julie leading classes to many different groups of students from children, to athletes, to experienced yogis and the beginner student stepping onto the mat for the very first time.
